What a difference a little paint makes....
Cory Wright has been painting murals and creating custom faux finishes for clients throughout the country and abroad for over 13 years. She earned her BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1998 and spent a year in Italy painting and studying Italian art on a European Honors program.
Based out of her home studio in Mira Bay, Cory is currently taking new commissions in the Tampa Bay area. Cory works with interior designers, decorators, homebuilders, and business owners, as well as with residential clients. Though she specializes in Trompe L'Oeil (French for "to fool the eye"), her style is very diverse, including childrens rooms and faux finishes.
Murals can depict realistic scenes or be more of a fantasy piece. Either way, they are sure to beautify and enhance your walls with a unique artistic touch to match your individual decor. For information about commissioning a mural or faux finish please call Cory at (813)758-7057, or simply click on the email address below. Since each mural is different and all are custom designed to suit the individual client's needs, pricing varies depending on size, complexity, and level of detail desired. |

The chair and framed painting are real, but the faux stone and marble are a painted illusion. |
The above is a windowless wall in an apartment livingroom in Rome, Italy. Were there actually a window, this would be view of the piazza below. Amazing what a little paint can do to open up a space, isn't it?! |
Why not bring the great outdoors...indoors?! |
This 60' long wall in a car dealership's Service Center wall was brought to life with the touch of a brush. |
Painted on the corner walls of this WWII themed sports bar, the plane actually appears to be three- dimensional. |
Every little girl's dream room...truly fit for a princess! Again, it's simply a plain, flat wall. The windows and glittering stone bricks are all a painted illusion. |
This football mural features the boy, whose bedroom it is, catching the winning pass of the game. Notice the "open locker" painted on his closet door. |
The family dog appears to stand watch as the baby sleeps in her picket fence and country landscape muraled nursery. |
There's so much to see...under the sea! Colorful, tropical fish, dolphins, turtles, and even a mermaid! |
Looking at the wall in this little boy's room, can you guess what he wants to be when he grows up? |
